Continuing Education

There is no additional fee for Continuing Education to the attendee. The conference has covered all costs associated with the application process and administration of the credits.

Attendees requesting Continuing Education must abide by the policies and procedures set by the conference office. These will be detailed in the conference program booklet and appear below. All boards prohibit early certificate distribution. The certificate distribution policies of the conference have been developed to meet the requirements set by the licensing boards, and the conference office does not have the ability to deviate from these policies.

As it is ultimately the responsibility of each licensee to keep abreast of the current rules and regulations of his/her respective licensing board, please contact your state licensing board with any questions regarding licensure renewal, continuing education requirements, and requirements for acceptable continuing education courses, programs and sponsors.

Expenses for Continuing Education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible. Consult your accountant for complete details.

COUNSELORS

Provider is approved by the NAADAC Education and Research Foundation Provider Number 680. Please check back for the total number of CHEs.
New Mexicans: Pursuant to 16.2l7.16.9, approval by both the NBCC and the NAADAC boards is considered an acceptable Continuing Education course by the New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board.  Other states: Please check your states licensing board to determine eligibility.

BOARD APPLICATIONS

We are currently researching continuing education for social workers, law enforcement and attorneys. 

THE ONSITE PROCESS
Please come back later for information on the process that will be used on-site for securing continuing education credit.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION:
Certificates will be handed out only at the end of the conference day. If you are attending multiple days, of the conference, you only need to pick up your certificate ONCE, at the end of the day of your final departure.  Therefore, individuals attending the full conference will only need to pick up their certificate on Saturday, November 14.

To request a duplicate copy of the certificate of completion AFTER the conference, send a check for $5 payable to Kesselman-Jones, Inc. AND a self-addressed stamped envelope to the conference office at PO Box 30182, Albuquerque, NM 87190. Replacement certificates will be sent only to individuals whose paperwork was submitted in full at the conference. Documentation will be kept on file for five years.
