**To qualify for group registration, at least four individuals from the same organization must be paid for at the same time and submit a group payment application. You must submit the group payment application form prior to registering. The conference office will issue an access code to each member of your group after we have received payment.  Each registrant will be required to enter their access code in order to register.

Drug Policy Alliance Membership Fee

You can become a member of the Drug Policy Alliance and save on the conference at the same time! By joining DPA as part of your conference registration – with a contribution of at least $35 – you can pay the member’s rate. Membership in DPA includes bi-yearly editions of The Ally, the Drug Policy Alliance newsletter, subscription to our electronic newsletter and Action Network, and special invites to DPA events in your area.

Payment Information

PAYMENT METHODS: Payments can be made by credit card (Visa/MasterCard/American Express).

Individuals who register in advance but do not submit a valid payment type by the identified deadline date will be charged the higher rate. If you register and we do not receive payment before the event, we will not prepare registration materials for you and we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event if space is not available.

Policies

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT TERMS

Early Bird: Registration rates change on 11:59 pm (MST) October 9, 2009. Payment must be made by credit card by October 9, 2009 to receive the early bird rate. If payment has not been received by 5:00 pm MT October 16, registrants will be charged the late fee. This applies to registrants submitting credit card payments that are denied.

Late: Registrations will be accepted by credit card payment only from October 10 to November 10, 2009.

On-site: Registrations will be accepted if space is available. Please arrive early enough to complete the on-site registration process.

Discount Codes are assigned by the Conference Office. The conference organizers reserve the right to cancel any registrants using unauthorized discount codes.

 

In all cases when payment is not received before the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event.

REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee covers attendance at all sessions and refreshments listed in the conference brochure.

EVENT ACCOMMODATIONS: Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, reduced rates have been arranged at the host hotel. It is necessary to contact the hotel directly with the booking reference which can be found on the Hotel and Travel page. It is advisable to book early to secure these rates, as availability is not guaranteed.

TRAVEL: Travel is not included in the conference fee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to make their way to the conference venue in adequate time. The conference organizers are not liable for any delays or non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation or weather-related travel conditions.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations received in writing by October 22, 2009 will be refunded in full less an administration charge of $40. Notice of cancellation must be made through the online registration site. Should you need to cancel your registration after October 22, the registration fee remains payable in its entirety, although a substitution will be accepted.

SUBSTITUTIONS AND NAME CHANGES: Substitutions are acceptable at any time. Return to the online registration site, enter your email address and follow the directions for making a substitution.

SPLITTING REGISTRATIONS: Registration may not be split.

SECURITY: The conference organizers are committed to ensuring that the submission of sensitive information, such as credit card details, is safe and secure. We employ reputable and reliable service providers to ensure such information is protected. All information we hold is kept secure with access limited to personnel charged with the processing of such data.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: We keep confidential all personal information entered during registration. When we do collect personally identifiable information, it is always voluntarily submitted by you (e.g., when you fill out registration pages or send us feedback). The information collected is used to send our registrants e-mail reminders and other information we think will be of interest. If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from our email list, you can unsubscribe by selecting the opt-out message at the bottom of our email messages or contacting us at unsubscribe@kessjones.com.

SAFETY: While every effort has been made to ensure the safety of all attendees, the organizers cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any personal accident, loss or damage to private property of those attending the conference.

INDEMNITY: It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the conference organizers to alter the venue, content or the timing of the program. We will endeavor to keep you informed of such changes but any reasonable change to the conference format will not constitute a reason to refund the conference fee. In the event that the conference is cancelled by the organizers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the organizers shall be limited to that refund and the organizers shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, whatsoever caused, incurred or arising.

PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: By entering the event premises and/or my participation in this event I am consenting to the use of my photograph, likeness or video or audio recording in whole or in part without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or any Drug Policy Alliance or Kesselman-Jones, Inc. purpose for distribution in the Drug Policy Alliance or Kesselman-Jones, Inc. online and printed publications or any publication in other media. I release Drug Policy Alliance, Kesselman-Jones, Inc., their officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises, I waive all rights I may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising or other publication of these materials regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. I also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Drug Policy Alliance or Kesselman-Jones, Inc. or the person or entity designated to do so by Drug Policy Alliance or Kesselman-Jones, Inc. I have been fully informed of my consent, waiver of liability and release before entering the event.
